Loni Flowers Thanks #Author Laura Kentowski, Shares Past Jobs & More #AmWriting #SelfPub #Romance

What else do you do to make money, other than write? It is rare today for writers to be full time. Monday through Friday, from 8am- 5pm. I am a supervisor at a bank. Is it what I want to be doing full-time? Nope. But it pays the bills.

What other jobs have you had in your life?  Cashier for a grocery store, Printer at a print shop.... both were extremely exciting! (Not!!)

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Not sure of the exactly place, but it would be someplace tropical. I LOVE the beach!

How do you write – lap top, pen, paper, in bed, at a desk? Laptop usually and from the comfort of my reclined couch!
Is there anyone you’d like to acknowledge and thank for their support? Author Laura Kentowski. She has been on this writing journey with me from day one. She pumps me up, gives me encouragement whenever I feel like I'm the worst storyteller in the world (and there are quite a few days like that), but she also keeps me grounded. Tells me what I need to hear, when I need to hear it. And if that means tough feedback, she gives me that too. I love her to pieces!

Every writer has their own idea of what a successful career in writing is, what does success in writing look like to you? Successful writing is completing something I'm proud of and knowing I did my absolute best. It's having a story that--for a little while-- takes the reader out of this world and into another and they enjoyed the journey. That’s what a successful writing career is to me. And if I make a little bit of money in the meantime, well then, that’s an extra bonus.

Tell us about your new book? What’s it about? After seven years in the Witness Protection Program, Abigale Peterson felt no safer now than she did when she was seventeen. Especially when the person she was being protected from was one of the world's worst crime lords. Then she meets Max Smith. He’s the only one who seems to get her. He calms her fears and comforts her from her nightmares. But he also sees right through her lies.
What’s your favorite meal? Shrimp pasta alfredo

What movie do you love to watch? Dirty Dancing. Yes it's old. But it's a classic. I've seen it too many times to count, but will watch it every time I see it on TV.

How do you feel about social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter? Are they a good thing? Yes I believe that are an awesome tool to have as a writer... if it's used correctly. These social sites help me reach a much wider audience to spread the word about my books, but they also allow me to interact with other readers. Gives me the ability to talk about that cute picture of someone's dog, talk about a favorite book or movie. Find new songs to fall in love with and in general, have fun talking to like-minded individuals on any topic under the sun!

Witness to my Heart

Keep a low profile. That's what Abigale Peterson was supposed to do, especially when the person she was being protected from was one of the world's worst crime lords. After seven years in the Witness Protection Program, she felt no safer now than she did when she was seventeen. Revenge was rarely forgotten when it came to a professional criminal like Zerilli.

Low profiles meant no social life and definitely no love life.

Paranoia and lies became daily habits, going against everything Abigale believed in, but they kept her safe. They kept everyone safe.

Until a house fire puts her out of that safety and into the arms of a stranger. Max Smith is sexy, smart, and has major attitude. He’s the only one who seems to get her. He calms her fears and comforts her from her nightmares. But he also sees right through her lies.

Before Abigale can stop, she’s in too deep; confiding too much and breaking the one rule she promised herself to uphold: Never fall in love.
