How often do you write? And when do you write?
I write every single day! I try to write as early as possible because of how crazy my house can get. Then I usually write again at night once the house calms down.
How do you work through self-doubts and fear?
The best way for me is to just keep writing. And review my outlines. I like to write with not just an idea but an outline. If I get stuck or I start to worry (which can be on a daily basis!), I will look at my outline, remind myself of the story, then just write through it.
What scares you the most?
Running out of ideas or hitting a wall so hard, it hurts… meaning the dreaded writers block.
What makes you happiest?
When people I don’t know email me, Facebook me, Tweet me, and tell me how great my books are. The best was just last week when a couple people were talking via Facebook about Brothers of Rock on their own timelines…
Have you always enjoyed writing?
YES! Whether it was school mandated reports, college reports, or writing my own books, I’ve always loved writing. Yes, I was the geeky person in school who loved writing English papers.
