I’m not a morning person, so I get to writing in the afternoons, Monday through Saturday.
Sometimes it’s so hard to keep at it – What keeps you going?
Honestly, I don’t know. I’m stubborn but there are times when I need to stop and re-group.
What’s your favorite meal?
That’s easy, lamb chops and potatoes.
What movie do you love to watch?
I like thrillers and mysteries.
How do you feel about social media websites such as Facebook and Twitter? Are they a good thing?
I love twitter except for the DM box. Facebook is changing into more of an advertising tool for large companies. I don’t think it helps me that much.
If you could do any job in the world what would you do?
Have enough money to write full time.
What are you most passionate about? What gets you fired up?
Politics and Women’s rights, but I try to use my writing in expressing these issues.
Are you a city slicker or a country lover?
I’m a city slicker through and through.
How do you think people perceive writers?
If you’re a traditionally published writer, you are looked at as being serious. However, if you’re an indie writer, you’re looked down upon. But it’s slowly changing.
What’s your next project?
I’m currently writing a psychological thriller called The Therapist.
Amber Tyler is living every author’s dream: her books are all best sellers and she writes full time. She has worked hard and is well-accomplished in her career, and she has the support and love of her beautiful children and girlfriend.
But the dream soon turns into a terrible nightmare when her latest manuscript is stolen. She decides to fight for what is rightfully hers, only to find that the harder she tries, the easier it all slips through her fingers, putting her career, her family, and her life in jeopardy.
